Each year, the Mobile Fire Safety House from the Salina Fire Department travels to each Salina Public School to educate 4th graders about fire safety. The Salina Fire Department asks for help to design a poster to be displayed on the Mobile Fire Safety House and around town at the local fire stations.
This year's theme is "Smoke Alarms: Make Them Work For You!"
Sunset's art teacher, Mrs. Allgier, is happy to announce that 4th Grader, Jaivion, is this year's Fire Safety Contest Winner from Sunset!
At the end of September, the Salina Fire Department will select one grand prize winner to have their art printed and displayed on the Fire Safety House and at the Salina Fire Stations.
