Sunset ELL teacher, Carol Allen, was recognized by USD305 as the September Teacher Appreciation Award winner.

As stated in USD305's release:

"Carol is an ELL teacher at Sunset Elementary School who goes above and beyond for her students every single day. She leads with compassion, patience, and positivity, always putting kids first in everything she does. Carol not only inspires her students but also supports her colleagues, modeling kindness, teamwork and great communication. Her dedication and student first mindset make her such a special part of the Sunset community."
